Children are the lifeblood and a primary focus of First Presbyterian Church.
There is a running joke in the congregation that people count the seconds from when an infant first cries or fusses,
until Dr. Lindsey takes the child into his arms.
Yet, what a wonderful image of this Church...
Young Children in Worship - A delightful and innovative program for Children, encourages the young believers to gather in a circle, where we tell the Biblical stories and act out the story with boxes of wooden figures, recognizing that if a child can tell the Story (whether they can read or not) they know the story.
